Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our release management and DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Change Request (CR) creation, cross-team coordination, and automation-driven delivery pipelines, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

This role requires strategic planning, timely execution, and quality delivery of releases across multiple environments. Key responsibilities include maintaining release calendars, coordinating with stakeholders for alignment, creating and managing CRs through their lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements.

The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams, facilitating release readiness meetings and post-release reviews, resolving conflicts and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Additionally, this role involves implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, monitoring and optimizing deployment processes for scalability and reliability, driving adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

A strong understanding of SDLC, Agile processes, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms are essential. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Groovy, and excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are also required.

Preferred qualifications include certifications in DevOps & Agile methodologies, experience in regulated industries, and familiarity with security and compliance standards in release processes.
