Engineering Leader for Global SaaS Platforms

This role oversees the strategy and execution of our platform organization, driving innovation in core infrastructure, developer experience, data platforms, and frontend frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Platform Roadmap & Strategy
  2. Determine a 12–18 month vision for the platform organization, aligning technical direction with business priorities.
  3. Frontend Enablement
  4. Establish frameworks and shared component libraries to accelerate development in modern stacks.
  5. Data Platform & Compliance
  6. Build unified approaches for ingestion, governance, observability, and schema validation across multiple data stores.
  7. Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
  8. Lead ownership of Kubernetes clusters, networking, IaC, and cloud security.
  9. Developer Experience & Reliability
  10. Champion robust CI/CD pipelines, progressive rollout practices, fault-injection testing, and end-to-end observability standards.
  11. Security & Compliance
  12. Partner with InfoSec and Legal teams to integrate controls for SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regional frameworks.
  13. Leadership & Culture
  14. Foster a culture of trust, ownership, and inclusion while holding a high bar for technical excellence.

Requirements:

  1. 15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams in high-scale SaaS environments
  2. Deep experience with Kubernetes and a major cloud provider (GCP preferred)
  3. Strong technical grounding in TypeScript/Node.js, container orchestration, IaC, service meshes, and event-driven systems
  4. Proven ability to design and deliver multi-region or data-residency compliant architectures
  5. Track record of implementing CI/CD, observability, contract testing, and reliability practices
  6. Comfort working in regulated industries with SOC 2, HIPAA, or equivalent standards
  7. Exceptional leadership and communication skills
