About the Position

Site Reliability and Network Engineers are pivotal in designing, deploying, automating, and monitoring both traditional and cloud network infrastructure. Securely building, configuring, and managing network resources is key to ensuring regulatory frameworks are met.

A highly skilled engineer will be responsible for leading the secure design, installation, and configuration of critical infrastructure at new and existing sites, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and ISP circuits.

Key responsibilities include implementing regular network infrastructure audits and compliance checks using Ansible, Python, Bash, and IAC tools; managing OS upgrades, routing changes, ACL/firewall updates; overseeing deployment and full lifecycle management of NGFW solutions; securing, segmenting, and managing network resources across AWS (preferred), Azure, and GCP; responding to security/network incidents, performing traffic/port scans, documenting findings, and leading post-mortems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design & Deployment: Lead the secure design, installation, and configuration of critical infrastructure.
  • Compliance Automation & Audit: Implement regular network infrastructure audits and compliance checks.
  • Routine Upgrades & Changes: Manage OS upgrades, routing changes, ACL/firewall updates.
  • Firewall & Security Operations: Oversee deployment and full lifecycle management of NGFW solutions.
  • Cloud Network Security: Secure, segment, and manage network resources across multiple platforms.
  • Incident Management & Forensics: Respond to security/network incidents, perform traffic/port scans, document findings, and lead post-mortems.
Desirable Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with firewall expertise, particularly with Palo Alto.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and IAC tools like Terraform.
  • Knowledge of OS upgrades, routing changes, ACL/firewall updates.
  • Ability to integrate security best practices and compliance controls.
