Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Engineering Strategist to lead our data engineering efforts and drive strategic initiatives forward. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing large-scale data engineering projects that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust data engineering strategy aligned with our overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements, scope, and priorities.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards to deliver high-quality and scalable software solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within software development or software engineering.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Extensive experience in software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Exposure to Big Data tools and solutions.
  • Experience in relational modeling, dimensional modeling, and modeling of unstructured data.
