Network Security Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of network security solutions that meet our organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network security architectures that meet our requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Analyze and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential clients, providing clear and concise solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop solution designs, prioritizing scalability and reliability.
  • Validate design solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and are technically feasible, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance.
  • Provide engineering support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting complex network issues and conducting regular maintenance.
  • Lead network-related projects from conception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables, and driving project success.
  • Manage a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including SDWAN, SD Security, SSE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast, and switching.
  • Experience in at least 2 of the SSE products - Versa, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, Netskope.
  • Experience in at least 1 of the Cloud Service Providers - AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, and think critically.
  • Leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team of network engineers, and drive results-oriented outcomes.

Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised, meeting multiple deadlines to address multiple issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly when communicating technical issues to a non-technical audience, and present complex ideas simply.
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently, and collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects and leading high-performing teams.
