Job Title: BIM Modeller MEP

We are seeking a skilled BIM professional with comprehensive knowledge in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches and calculations for MEP services on diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality Revit models and construction documentation for MEP services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture, interior and landscape design schemes.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
  • Utilize industry-standard BIM authoring tools to provide technical support to the project team.
  • Create discipline-specific BIM system families for projects and ensure linked models are coordinated across disciplines.
  • Follow established BIM execution plans and adhere to project-specific documentation standards.
  • Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity take-offs.
  • Evaluate model development for coordination and clash-free conditions in conjunction with the design team.
  • Maintain project models consistent with project design intent, relevant building codes, standards and specifications.
  • Organize and maintain Revit project files, libraries and standards.
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Stay updated on the latest software updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Engineering Design or equivalent experience.
  • Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit user with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in modelling MEP services in architectural and interior fit-out projects.
  • Ability to lead in resolving complex issues and challenges.
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing and building materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP drawings.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
