Senior Technical Director

Job Description:

The Senior Technical Director will provide strategic technical leadership and vision to drive quality initiatives forward.

This role involves defining and implementing technical strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring adherence to international quality and industry standards, and driving innovation in materials, processes, and product designs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee all Technical Services, Quality Control, and Product Development activities.
    • Define and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Ensure adherence to international quality and industry standards (API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure quality systems across manufacturing units are compliant and continuously improved.
    • Monitor and evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT.
    • Ensure traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
  • Product Innovation:
    • Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs.
    • Lead R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications.
    • Explore and develop hydrogen-compatible products.
  • Metallurgical Expertise:
    • Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection.
    • Resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical leadership and expertise to key clients and vendors.
    • Collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A master's degree or higher is preferred. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in metallurgy, quality control, and project management.

Additional Requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
