We are seeking a talented Organic Chemist to lead the design, synthesis, and characterization of innovative organic compounds.As an Organic Chemist at our organization, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results to drive innovation and advance research goals. Key responsibilities include designing and executing organic synthesis routes to target compounds, performing purification and characterization of organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy, analyzing and interpreting experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges, maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations, staying current with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry to contribute to the development of novel methodologies and technologies, and adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, organic chemistry, or related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability, 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred, strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques, hands-on experience with organic synthesis, purification, and characterization methods, proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in scientific research, and this is an onsite role that requires physical presence.Competitive compensation is offered, negotiable for the right talent.
