Job Title: Strategic Sourcing and Commercial Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced strategic professional to lead our sourcing and commercial function for the Automotive Seating Division.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in the automotive seating industry
  • Proven expertise in cost negotiations, price panel management, and global sourcing
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, customs duty structures, and import management

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
    • Lead end-to-end sourcing for seating components including structure, foam, trim, mechanisms, and plastics
    • Develop and manage local and global supplier networks ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets
  • Price Panel & Cost Negotiation:
    • Create and maintain price panels for key commodities and components
    • Lead commercial negotiations and finalize pricing based on cost breakdowns, market trends, and benchmarks
  • Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:
    • Evaluate, develop, and monitor supplier performance through audits and performance indicators
    • Drive strategic partnerships and long-term agreements with key suppliers
  • New Program Development Support:
    • Manage sourcing timelines and deliverables for new launches and engineering changes
    • Support process readiness for new products
  • Commercial Governance:
    • Ensure procurement documentation, contracts, and approvals are in place as per internal policies
    • Maintain accurate records for audits and commercial transparency

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline (Mechanical/Automotive preferred)
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus
