Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers in delivering high-quality products on time.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful execution of product releases by implementing Agile methodologies and utilizing the Scrum framework.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Operations, to guarantee timely delivery, platform uptime, and technical debt management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead High-Performing Teams: As a Software Development Team Lead, you will build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and upskilling team members.
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with Product Management to define product strategy and achieve product vision.
  • Backlog Refinement and Prioritization: Participate in Backlog Refinement and assist Product Management in prioritizing user stories.
  • Sprint Planning and Execution: Participate in Sprint Planning with Product Teams and Technical Leads to define sprint scope, goal, and deliverables.
  • SDLC Process Improvement: Define, deploy, and improve SDLC processes in coordination with Product and QA Teams.
  • Task Assignment and Monitoring: Assign tasks to team members and monitor sprint progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure unit testing and peer code reviews are conducted.
  • Communication and Reporting: Send periodic updates on sprint progress to stakeholders.
  • Bottleneck Identification and Resolution: Identify bottlenecks to sprint schedules and address them in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in software product/platform development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Java with prior experience.
  • Ai Solutions Experience: Demonstrated experience in executing or implementing AI solutions within live projects is mandatory.
  • Agile Methodologies: Excellent grasp of software engineering processes, DevOps, and experience with Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
