BIM Modeller MEP Job Description

Job Title: BIM Modeller MEP

Industry: Architecture and Interior Design Projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed models and construction documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services from schematic design through construction phases.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
  • Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
  • Follow established building information modelling (BIM) execution plans and adhere to project specific documentation.
  • Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules, and quantity take-offs.
  • Ensure in development of coordinated and clash-free models in coordination with the design team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit modeller with strong portfolio demonstrating experience in modelling MEP services in architectural and interior fit-out projects.
  • Ability to take lead in resolving issues and challenges.
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.

About This Role:

This role is responsible for developing detailed models and construction documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services. The successful candidate will work closely with the design team to ensure that all models are coordinated and clash-free.
