Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our Quantity Surveying team and drive strategic cost management across residential and commercial projects. As General Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of cost estimations, budget preparation, contract management, and commercial negotiations.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in quantity surveying, with a strong background in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials. Experience in residential and commercial construction projects is essential, as well as proficiency in QS software/tools, MS Excel, and project management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team to achieve cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement effective cost-control measures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Oversee tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and progress to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in QS software/tools, MS Excel, and project management systems.
