Senior Cost Analyst

The Senior Manager Costing will be responsible for supporting the accurate allocation of costs, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
This role will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide insightful data and assist in driving cost control measures.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
- Provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis:- Identify waste, inform pricing strategies, and improve growth projections by analysing business activity costs.
- Develop and analyse cost standards, prepare budget forecasts, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-saving measures are implemented.
- Recommend changes to processes and policies to reduce costs by identifying inefficiencies, unusually high operating costs, and production performance lapses.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting reports, generate reports for senior management, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
