Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our cost optimization initiative, you will be responsible for conducting detailed should-cost analysis and developing accurate cost models to support sourcing, design, and cost reduction efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough should-cost analysis for various components, including sheet metal, casting, machining, and plastic parts, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Virtual Production Environments (VPEs) using tools like aPriori or similar platforms to estimate manufacturing costs and assess process feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost drivers, benchmark industry costs, and recommend cost-effective alternatives.
- Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes to validate costs and provide cost impact assessments.
- Benchmark industry costs, technologies, and regional manufacturing practices to ensure competitive pricing.
- Detailed knowledge of cost estimation methods and tools, including aPriori software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cost modeling, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
