
Strategic People Partner

As a key member of our global team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an exceptional work environment. This involves providing critical information to enable People Partners and business leaders to make informed decisions.
The role entails ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, which includes guiding them through our company culture and policies. You will be responsible for facilitating onboardings, covering all asset and access-related tasks.
A critical aspect of this position is conducting background verification processes for all new hires in collaboration with our vendors.
You will also be tasked with maintaining regular check-ins with new and existing team members to gauge their happiness and productivity levels.
Partnering with leaders and management to resolve people-related conflicts or concerns is another essential duty.
Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for the team, addressing questions related to our policies or culture.
In order to keep the team engaged, you will strategize and conduct fun online and offline activities periodically.
This role also involves creating and managing communication that falls under the purview of the People Operations team, including email templates, policies, engagement activity-related announcements, etc.
You will collaborate with leaders to draft policies and add them to our handbook, reflecting our vision, mission, and values.
Minimizing attrition and maximizing retention are key objectives, which you will strive to achieve through strategic programs.
Conducting exit interviews and handling end-to-end off-boarding processes are also crucial responsibilities.
Issuing letters and emails as required and planning team offsites / workations while managing logistics end-to-end are additional duties.
Furthermore, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute people processes from start to finish.
Closing and maintaining partnerships with vendors and processing salary changes and payroll with the Finance team within TATs are also essential tasks.
Vetting paperwork and contracts as needed and providing support to the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams when necessary are final responsibilities.
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail
- Mature and able to handle sensitive matters
- High energy levels to manage engagement activities
- Natural talent for working with people
- Empathetic and rational
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in People Operations, people programs, staffing, and/or other large-scale people roles
- Knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations case management
- Data analysis, trend understanding, and recommendation development skills
- Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Proficient with numbers, MS Office, and related tools like Fresh team, Zoho, Deel, Just Works, etc.
- Prior experience working with remote, global teams of over 250 people
