Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Next-Generation solutions for customers, working closely with the Network Security Professional Services India & SAARC team.
  • Collaborate with customers and partner teams to deliver complex projects and ensure successful completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including consultation on security best practices and trusted advisor roles.
  • Analyze logs and events from solutions, supplying threat analysis reports and providing input and direction as applicable.
  • Maintain implemented solutions, provide mentorship on code upgrades, changes to platforms, and new technology developments.
  • Work with sales account teams to formulate technical strategies addressing customer business needs.
  • Support direct managers in managing business needs through weekly reports and quarterly business reviews.
  • Engage with account teams to understand customer business and technical requirements, promoting collaboration and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent education/training/experience is required.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in document creation is necessary.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications is required.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings are essential.
  • The ability to leverage a variety of tools to complete migrations (e.g., scripts, Excel, third-party tools) is necessary.
