Corporate Attorney Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Attorney with extensive experience in IT services and consulting. The position involves providing strategic legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters to ensure compliance and support business operations with risk-mitigated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, Review, and Negotiate Commercial Contracts:
  •   MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
  • Provide Legal Advice:
  •   Corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters.
  • Support Business Teams:
  •   Client negotiations and enable smooth deal closures.
  • Ensure Compliance:
  •   Data protection, IT laws, and international regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Manage Legal Risks:
  •   Proactively provide strategic advice to leadership.
  • Liaise with External Counsel:
  •   Litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
  • Support Policy Development:
  •   Drafting policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations.
  • Conduct Internal Training:
  •   Compliance and legal best practices awareness sessions.
Requirements:
  • LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is a plus.
