Legal Manager Role

TrillionLoans is driving India's fintech revolution in digital lending, and we're seeking a talented Legal Manager to join our team.

This role will play a critical part in managing our legal and regulatory affairs, ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on commercial agreements including third-party contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
  • Support general corporate legal matters with a solid understanding of the Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations.
  • Assist in creating and streamlining processes for efficient contract negotiation and management.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support, and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks.
  • Ensure that all legal and commercial arrangements comply with applicable laws.

Requirements:

  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks, including RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
  • A proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with regulatory bodies confidently.
