Our organization is seeking a Corporate Governance Specialist

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role will be to oversee the administrative functions of client companies, ensuring they remain in good legal and financial standing.

As a Corporate Governance Specialist, you will manage the client team responsible for reviewing corporate agreements, documents, and legal manuals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing corporate documents such as resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
  • Participating in company incorporation and termination processes.
  • Providing fee quotations to clients and charging fees accordingly.
  • Monitoring productivity and chargeability on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring actions taken are consistent with our organization's purpose within the legal and economic framework.
  • Managing companies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in client files.
  • Collaborating with managers for maintenance of the client database.
  • Developing and updating legal manuals and procedures.
  • Preparing monthly reports for the management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree (Law/Economics) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in legal and corporate/company management services.
  • Strong commercial mindset, taking initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue/target driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, well-developed spoken and written communication skills, and ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
  • Excellent English language fluency, additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time management skills.
  • Independent, hands-on, and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a smaller dynamic local team environment.
  • Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
