Job Description

The role of the Corporate Legal Specialist is a unique opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of high-impact legal work across various aspects, including client negotiations, intellectual property protection, risk management, and data privacy compliance. This position requires a self-driven legal professional with 2–4 years of relevant experience.

This position offers a chance to own legal processes and gain end-to-end exposure to product, data, commercial, and corporate legal matters. The ideal candidate will be excited to work in a lean, fast-paced environment where they can apply their skills to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and vet commercial agreements (including SaaS, licensing, data sharing, MSAs, NDAs, etc.)
  • Support in ensuring compliance with data protection laws (DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Contribute to internal compliance, IP protection, and risk management frameworks
  • Liaise with external counsels, partners, and regulators when needed
  • Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and proactively inform internal stakeholders
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal legal processes and templates
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (TMT, Fintech, or General Corporate)
  • LL.B. required (LL.M. or certifications in data privacy/fintech are a plus)
  • Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation
  • Understanding of software licensing, technology transfers, and data privacy
  • Clear, confident communication—able to simplify legal concepts for non-legal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters autonomously
