Job Title: Experienced Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee commercial ICI construction projects. This is a part-time role that requires a hybrid work model with remote work and in-person site visits or office meetings as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements.
  • Site Management: Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Administration: Handle all project administration, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • Procurement: Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Financial Management: Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • Budget Control: Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Relationship: Represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Apart from being experienced, you should have knowledge of the construction industry and excellent communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will also possess strong organizational skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction management software would be beneficial, but not essential.
