Front Office Supervisor

Our hotel is seeking a highly skilled Front Office Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

The Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision of the front desk operations, ensuring that all guests receive a high level of service and care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily briefings with team members to ensure they are well-informed about pertinent information.
  • Managing and supervising staff tasks to ensure highest quality service delivery and department standards are met.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and suggesting improvements to work flow and standards at the front desk.
  • Analyzing rate variance reports to ensure room revenue control and approving discounts and rebates.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent communication skills, and experience in leading teams. They will also have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera Cloud.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages will be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera Cloud.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills. They will also have good communication and customer contact skills, results and service-oriented with an eye for details, ability to multi-task, work well in stressful and high-pressure situations, be a team player, builder, motivator, self-starter, well-presented, and professionally groomed at all times.

The critical issues in this job include maintaining highest standards and quality of services in Front Office operation to meet and exceed budgeted revenue targets and guests' expectations.
