Job Description

As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert-level assistance to internal and external customers, leveraging your knowledge of database structures, SQL, and query optimization techniques to resolve complex issues.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Implementation, DevOps, Customer Success, QA, and Level 1 Support, to ensure seamless issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude, while communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.

Typical Functions:

  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our hospitality technology solutions.
  • Database Management: Create custom reports and export data using SQL queries.
  • Issue Escalation: Act as the escalation point for issues requiring further investigation beyond initial support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Implementation team and other stakeholders to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Communication: Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude while communicating with colleagues and customers.
Requirements

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas and questions between end-users and engineers.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong SQL or database skills, with experience working with JIRA, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CRM tools.
  • Troubleshooting: Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with various teams (DevOps, Customer Success, QA, Level 1 Support) for issue resolution.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of web standards, APIs, and scripting languages.
