About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to oversee all legal and regulatory matters within our organization.

This key position involves drafting, reviewing, and approving various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate, real estate, and regulatory laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: Create, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, affidavits, and other legal documents.
  • Compliance Management: Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
  • Litigation Support: Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.
  • Application Preparation: Prepare and file applications, petitions, and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Consultation and Coordination: Collaborate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in relevant laws/regulations and keep management updated.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.
Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • LL.B. Degree: Hold an LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Advocacy Enrollment: Be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • Professional Experience: Possess 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Independence: Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
