Job Title: Manager - Corporate Credit Analyst

Role Overview:

As a Corporate Credit Analyst, you will manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Banks credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers).
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage ever-changing and often conflicting priorities; Ability to work with a high level of motivation and initiative.
  • Work diligently to develop technical skills and industry knowledge related to the role.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their a Global Capability Centre), asset manager or rating agency environment.
  • There should be an emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a more transaction driven environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance or their equivalents)

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be preferred/ beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.
