Coupa Consultant Job Description

As a Coupa Consultant, you will provide day-to-day support for Coupa P2P modules including requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier management, and expenses. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor system performance and resolve technical and functional issues in a timely manner.

Working closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams, you will understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions. You will manage user access, roles, and permissions within Coupa.

You will also support integration between Coupa and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, SSO, middleware) and assist in system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements. Documenting support procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users is another key aspect of this role.

Liaising with Coupa support and vendors for issue resolution and product updates, you will ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably in Coupa or other P2P systems.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and finance processes.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coupa certifications or training.
  • Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
