Hello, our team is currently seeking a professional to fill the role of SAP Basis Consultant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to handle bridge calls with clients.

We are looking for someone who can actively monitor systems to ensure they are running smoothly. Experience with ABAP and JAVA systems is a must, and knowledge of other applications such as BOBJ, BODS, Cloud connector, Content server, and Open Text would be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will also need to have knowledge of webdispatcher and SSL/SOA configuration. They should be able to provide technical support for SAP systems and examine technical infrastructures including transport and printer administration, job scheduling, designing, and implementing of SAP operational needs.

Maintaining multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment is a critical task for basis administrators. They need to manage the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.

The ideal candidate should have a structured approach to introducing technical changes into the environment, minimizing risk and achieving high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance.

Additionally, they should be able to configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances and maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.

Apart from these key responsibilities, the candidate should also be able to monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space).
