Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Process Improvement Specialist to drive our organizational transformation by optimizing business processes and enhancing efficiency. This pivotal role will spearhead the adoption of lean practices, process standardization, and best-in-class implementation across manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Lead the adoption of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize business processes and improve product quality.
- Performance Metrics: Establish performance metrics and dashboards to track improvements and measure process efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cost Reduction: Partner with product, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to analyze and optimize cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) drivers.
- Innovation: Develop and implement value engineering, supplier benchmarking, and cost-out initiatives without compromising quality.
- Benchmarking: Benchmark industry best practices and adapt them to water purifier manufacturing and service models.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with Quality teams to reduce defect rates, improve reliability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Drive initiatives to reduce rework, scrap, and warranty costs.
- Training and Development: Build organizational capability in Lean/Process Excellence through training and coaching.
Requirements:
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience in driving COGS reduction programs in consumer appliances, electronics, or manufacturing setups.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytics platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with high ownership.
