Site Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date site documentation, conducting preliminary site inspections, interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, preparing comprehensive reports, developing cost estimates, and implementing quality assurance processes.

In addition, the Site Engineer will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, design specifications, and industry best practices. They will also provide support to the project management team by coordinating site activities, resolving issues, and addressing project-related concerns in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including drawings, reports, permits, and correspondence.
  • Conduct preliminary site inspections to assess site conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information necessary for project planning and execution.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing site activities, progress updates, issues encountered, and recommended solutions.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure construction activities meet specified standards and project requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer (5 years +) or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in interpreting drawings, preparing reports, and developing cost estimates.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
