Oracle Finance Consultant Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications, identifying and applying creative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles, managing functional requests from end users, defining priorities, writing specifications, and coordinating developments with technical teams.

Key responsibilities include reviewing quarterly updates, understanding business needs, testing, and deploying functionality, designing and developing OTBI reports, FRC reports, and basic SQL queries, supporting finance and third-party integrations, establishing reconciliation processes and supporting month-end and year-end reconciliations, defining custom fusion roles, and providing data access.

The successful candidate will also work with Oracle to resolve application bugs and enhancements, encourage business use of Oracle standard functionalities, map business requirements into Oracle Applications specifications, develop unit test scripts, and coordinate UAT. Additionally, the candidate will lead system life cycle phases, handle period closing, train end-user communities, participate in audits, detect issues, implement action plans, and coordinate actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science
  • 3+ years of Oracle fusion experience related to Finance modules
  • 7+ years' experience working with Oracle Financial modules
  • 5+ years implementing Oracle Financial modules
  • 2+ years supporting end users of Oracle Financial modules
