Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculation
  • Manual profit and loss (PnL) and NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with software outputs
  • Processing and valuation of complex instruments, including bonds, forwards, swaps, and other derivatives
  • Daily cash and position reconciliations with brokers and custodians
  • Preparing and reviewing accounting entries in fund management software
  • Managing end-to-end fund accounting and investment operations for assigned clients
  • Handling multi-currency portfolio accounting, income and expense accruals, and dividend processing
  • Preparation of financial statements as per generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Coordinating with auditors and supporting year-end audit and financial closure
  • Preparing drawdown, distribution, equalization, and waterfall calculations based on fund documents
  • Producing accurate and timely investor capital statements and internal rate of return (IRR) calculations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with fund accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
  • Familiarity with global accounting/reporting standards (GAAP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
