Fund Accounting Role

As a Fund Accounting professional, you will be responsible for performing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions. This includes coordinating with internal and external teams to complete various tasks and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform/review daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions as assigned.
  • Coordinate with different teams (both internal and external) to perform various daily/monthly/quarterly tasks.
  • Own and ensure timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks.
  • Monitor status of aged and significantly sized breaks to ensure timely and accurate resolution by following up with various stakeholders as required.
  • Act as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by your team.
  • Calculate, book, and review deal-wise various fees like management, incentive/carry etc., as assigned.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction & process efficiency.
  • Keep clients informed about expected delays and reasons thereof on a timely manner along with a plan of action.
  • Ensure all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality.
  • Participate in calls/meetings between team, client to help set expectations right and document the same to clear any understanding gaps.
  • In-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks.
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems and escalate to manager as needed.

  • Familiarity with financial software applications.
