Job Title: Civil Site Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated site civil engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role requires close monitoring of work progress, ensuring quality control, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with contractors, labor teams, and the project management office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure timely execution of work as per drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth workflow.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and approved construction procedures.
  • Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and labor attendance.
  • Inspect and verify that materials delivered meet project requirements.
  • Resolve any site issues, technical problems, or discrepancies in drawings.
  • Ensure safety protocols are implemented and followed by all personnel on site.
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and consultants to update on work status.
  • Oversee layout setting, leveling, and surveying at the site.
  • Conduct inspections for completed work before handing over to the next stage.
  • Manage site manpower efficiently to meet project timelines.
  • Track and report project progress, delays, or risks to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in site execution for civil construction projects (commercial, residential, or industrial).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making ability under pressure.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with site safety regulations and quality standards.
Work Environment:
  • This role is 100% site-based and requires the candidate to be present on-site during working hours.
  • May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
