Lead Oracle Database Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, emphasizing Application DBA responsibilities.
">- Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, optimizer hints, and AWR, ASH, ADDM, TKPROF, and other Oracle diagnostic/tuning tools.
- Experience supporting web applications, API-driven architectures, or middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion Cloud database integration (Pub/Sub methodology preferred).
- Knowledge of high availability, scalability, and SLA management for mission-critical applications.
- Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and user access controls.
In this role, you will collaborate with API Gateway and custom orchestration teams to optimize database interaction patterns and ensure efficient database design for web applications with high concurrency and SLA targets. You will also monitor and troubleshoot replication/data transfer issues, partnering with infrastructure DBAs for patching, backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
