This is an exciting opportunity to join Epiroc as a Machine Reliability Specialist in Ranchi. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing machine reliability and service excellence across the region.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in maintenance and reliability engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Regional Parts & Service Manager (RPSM) in achieving regional KPIs and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies to monitor equipment health and prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Investigate failures to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to improve machine reliability.
  • Work closely with channel partners to ensure timely reporting of quality issues and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot product failures and provide technical support to team members.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for channel partner engineers on reporting, inspection, and machine audits.
  • Foster a culture of reliability excellence by facilitating knowledge sharing among team members and across departments.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exposure to failure analysis (FMEA & RCA), reliability and sustainability engineering, and reliability metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and failure rate analysis.
  • Experience in field service, partner management, parts & service business development exposure, AMC & contract management experience, and man management skills.
