Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Terviva. As a key member of our supply chain group, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of Pongamia beans, pods, and other value-added products. Your expertise will help us to achieve our sustainability and social upliftment goals while ensuring the quality and reliability of our supply chain.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the procurement of Pongamia beans, pods, and other value-added products
• Identify potential bean clusters in different states and coordinate with field teams and partners for pre-harvest positions
• Develop and manage regional procurement teams, during and after the procurement season
• Collaborate with government departments, such as forest, tribal welfare, and agriculture, to facilitate procurement and logistics planning

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in HOD/Senior Manager/GM roles, with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management
• At least 100 cr plus procurement experience of niche products
• MBA from a premier Business School
• Deep understanding of procurement of forest produce, including farmer and collector level interventions
