Job Title: Assistant Manager- Finance

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager- Finance to join our team at Raffles Udaipur. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the finance team, directing and coordinating hotel financial planning and budget management functions, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
  • Direct and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management functions, including preparing annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions, providing recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives, ensuring adequate resources and support.
  • Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues, representing the company in interactions with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
  • Conduct regular checks on procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, food preparing, and portioning, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Additional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Fully conversant in and financial regulation standards.
