Job Title: Head of Placements and Corporate Strategy

Overview

Our institute is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our placement and corporate relations efforts. As the Head of Placements and Corporate Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that align with our institution's vision and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement placement strategies that meet our institutional goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
  • Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to increase engagement and promote our institute's brand.
  • Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.
  • Work closely with faculty and training partners to groom students to meet industry expectations through resume building, interview prep, and group discussion practice.
  • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.
  • Leverage our alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
  • Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputed academic institution or corporate setting.
  • Strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
