Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive cost savings initiatives and build strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationship building.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce procurement expenses.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conduct regular performance reviews, and address any supplier issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement best practices and strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical/civil commodities of infrastructure projects.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
