Key Position Overview

This critical leadership role oversees and executes complex financial tasks, ensures strong governance and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions to address business challenges and enhance financial performance through data-driven insights.
  • Organize and manage complex financial situations across units by implementing efficient procedures.
  • Analyze business processes to identify core issues and opportunities for improvement through process re-engineering.
  • Perform monthly closing of books of accounts and prepare profitability statements for senior management review.
  • Prepare detailed variance analysis reports with ageing reports.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly); analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Head the internal audit department and implement effective audit tools to improve efficiencies.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Submit and revise Internal Audit Charters and Audit Plans as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Identify cost control areas and implement strategies to reduce costs and avoid revenue leakages.
  • Participate in value improvement initiatives and capex project reviews.
  • Contribute to profit optimization and cost control through contribution analysis reports.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors for audits and financial reviews.
  • Coordinate with department heads for annual budget preparation and operational cost planning.
  • Oversee accounts receivables, payables, reconciliation processes, and other accounting functions.
  • Maintain General Ledger accounts with high accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Required Skills

  • 20 years minimum experience in auditing, Financial analysis and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, auditing procedures, financial planning, reporting, and audit tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Package
