Job Title: Distributor Relationship Manager

Job Description:
  • Create a robust distributor network by identifying, negotiating, and closing deals with key partners.
  • E nsure seamless documentation and statutory compliance for newly appointed distributors to maintain transparency and trust.
  • Establish sales targets for both primary and secondary channels, along with the number of retail stores to be opened each month, and drive performance to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage sales to distributors and subsequently to retail stores, fostering growth and achieving sales targets through direct sales and channel partnerships.
  • C coordinate timely invoicing and dispatch processes with distributors to optimize cash flow.
  • Streamline collections and manage outstanding balances, adhering to FIFO principles and maintaining accurate records.
  • Regularly confirm distributor balances to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver daily sales reports, weekly inventory and sales reports, and monthly sales versus achievement reports with aging information for distributors to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Directly responsible for opening and servicing high-performing retail outlets.
  • Ensure optimal model mix and placement of focused products to maximize sales potential.
  • Motivate and guide sales teams to achieve targeted results by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Monitor distributor inventory levels in terms of SKUs and stock quantities to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Promote company products effectively through merchandising and display across assigned areas.
  • Analyze and summarize sales and inventory reports as per company timelines, and report competitor activity to regional sales managers or headquarters.
  • Implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives strategically to drive business growth.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the mobile accessories or related industry.
  • Strong market reputation for handling distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive business success.
  • Proven track record of expanding market presence and driving sales growth, particularly in urban and rural areas.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and management information systems (MIS) reporting.
