Mortgage Origination Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Origination professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in mortgage origination, with a strong understanding of post-closing reviews and correspondent experience. They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface professionally with clients, title companies, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews. They will also possess working knowledge and hands-on experience with RESPA/ TRID review and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements.

  • Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all JLs
  • Possess working knowledge and hands of for RESPA /TRID review and other federal, state and industry compliance requirements
  • Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close

The Mortgage Origination Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development of the highest possible ongoing and initial coaching and training to new and existing staff. They will also use quality assurance data to build improvement in overall lender decision making.

Additionally, the role involves identifying gaps and documenting processes and procedures, building a reporting suite that allows clear communication of performance to each team member, peer, manager, and executive leadership. The Mortgage Origination Manager will also manage or oversee administrative tasks of the department, continually reviewing process and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 72-84 months of Mortgage Origination (Post Closing review, PQA etc) and Correspondent experience (End to End value chain) in US Home Loan products
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations. Should be well versed with TRID guidelines
  • Management experience in human resources, or as operations manager is needed.
