Senior Underwriter Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Underwriter to join our organization in Vellore. The ideal candidate will possess 3.5+ years of underwriting experience and have a strong understanding of credit report review, debt-to-income ratio assessment, loan-to-value evaluation, income & asset calculations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Own the entire underwriting process for live cases.
  • Evaluate borrower profiles using the 4 Cs of credit: character, capacity, capital, and collateral.
  • Conduct thorough credit report reviews for accurate risk assessment.
  • Work on UK Mortgage and US Mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, debt-to-income ratio assessment, loan-to-value ratio evaluation, asset calculation, and PITI review.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.5 years of underwriting experience.
  • Experience in the UK Mortgage process or US Mortgage underwriting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
