Job Title: Mortgage Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Mortgage Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our mortgage department.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of all aspects of mortgage operations, including loan origination, underwriting, processing, and closing. You will work closely with our lending team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Direct day-to-day management of team members, ensuring their training, development, and performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to RESPA/TRID regulations and other federal, state, and industry guidelines.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders.
  • Service Quality: Enhance customer service levels and quality control processes for residential mortgage loans.
  • Staff Development: Design and implement coaching and training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze loan production pipeline and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Mortgage Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Supervisory Skills: Good supervision, organization, and math skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skill.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in mortgage origination and correspondent roles.
