Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in API-based integration and automation to lead the design and implementation of monitoring solutions across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom integrations and automations using LogicMonitor's REST APIs, driving system reliability and intelligence-driven alerting.
  • Design scalable monitoring workflows that support multi-cloud and on-prem systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Build and maintain LogicModules, dashboards, escalation chains, and reporting logic, enhancing observability.
  • Automate monitoring deployments and policy configurations across client environments, streamlining processes.
  • Provide mentorship and design standards for observability integration, promoting best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in monitoring engineering, with 3+ years focused on LogicMonitor.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and JSON/XML-based API design, ensuring efficient integration.
  • Proven success in automating large-scale monitoring environments, demonstrating expertise.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud observability and integrations with ITSM/CMDB tools, expanding capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of platform engineering and service reliability practices, fostering growth.
