Overview:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong passion for accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
  • Process vendor invoices, payment tracking, and reconciliations with high attention to detail.
  • Assist in preparing TDS payments, Softex filings, and GST submissions under the guidance of senior accountants.
  • Manage books of accounts in Zoho Books (India) and support QuickBooks (US entity) as required.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, including foreign client payments for export transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities and ensure audit-ready documentation is prepared.
  • Coordinate with HR to process payroll using payroll software.
  • E nsure all records are updated for statutory filings, external audits, and other compliance needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance, preferably in the IT/ITES industry.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and automated vendor payment tools is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently on day-to-day accounting tasks and provide support to senior accountants in compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent analytical skills, and be able to meet deadlines.
