IT Infrastructure Manager Role

This position oversees the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, data centers ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Main Objectives:
  • Infrastructure Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals and scalability needs.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage hybrid environments (e.g., Nutanix, cloud migrations) focusing on cost optimization.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement infrastructure security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and enable growth.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design, implement, and test DR and business continuity plans.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee proactive monitoring of systems and networks; resolve incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure budgets; recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare reports on infrastructure health and KPIs.

This role requires a strong background in IT infrastructure management including network, systems, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills as well as experience with project management and team leadership.
