Job Title: Water Infrastructure Specialist

The role of the Water Infrastructure Specialist is to provide expertise in designing and reviewing water infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with established standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and finalizing preliminary designs, reviewing technical bid documents, and estimating costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert input for physical modeling of significant structural interventions to ensure dam safety.
  2. Participate in CS&QA activities as a third-party representative to ensure high-quality outputs.
  3. Conduct dam safety inspections and manage transmittals to maintain accurate records.
  4. Facilitate capacity building through customized training programs for DRIP IAs.
  5. Collaborate with CPMU and CWC to publish technical papers and present case studies at international conferences.
  6. Prepare project rehabilitation reports and contribute to the finalization of the CS&QA Manual and Plan.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in water infrastructure design and review.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to estimate costs and prepare financial reports.
