Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance. They will work closely with product teams and engineers to create scalable, high-availability systems that meet business requirements.

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS for high availability, scalability, resilience, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with container management technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn, ECS, EKS).
  • Monitor infrastructure and visualization software like Prometheus, Grafana etc.

This role requires participation in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on a rotating basis.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of software industry experience with at least 4 years of experience in SRE role.
  • AWS certification on 1 or more of the following: SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect.
  • A proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership skills with pro-active mindset.
  • Couching and Mentoring skills to connect with the product teams and influence them to adhere to Cloud best practices.
