Instrumentation Specialist

This is a highly skilled role responsible for the preparation and review of quality systems related documents, calibration schedules, and project documentation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review quality systems related documents, including SOPs, formats, and instrument lists.
  • Develop and maintain calibration schedules for instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct preliminary cost estimations and budget tracking to ensure projects are completed within allocated funds.
  • Design and implement P&IDs, instrument indexes, instrument lists, BOMs, and data sheets to support efficient project execution.
  • Prepare cable schedules, logic write-ups, interlock alarm systems, and look-up drawings to facilitate instrumentation work.
  • Float enquiries and evaluate vendors to ensure quality material inspection and approvals.
  • Execute instrumentation work, commissioning instrumentation systems, and ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
  • Support major breakdowns, provide technical assistance for routine maintenance, and suggest actions on repetitive failures.
  • Identify alternatives and utilize available instruments and systems to optimize spare management.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and ensure effective performance of testing and measuring instruments.
  • Participate in management drives, encourage team participation, and inspire employees to achieve goals and pursue professional development.
  • Conduct JSA and technical training for technicians to upgrade their technical grades and monitor engineer performance.
  • Actively participate in Hazop studies and implementations, and take charge of all activities in the absence of Mr. Pankaj Kumar Prajapati.
